My friend Ariel just emailed me. She is the director at the girls' daycare. Here is a cut and paste of her correspondence. (Alanna is one of the teachers.)
Alanna had made herself some spiced cider and was drinking it in the preschool. Curious Stella asked her what it was. When Alanna told her, Stella said it looked like coffee. Alanna asked her "does your mom drink coffee" and Stella's response was "no, my mom only drinks wine."
That's not true. I drink coffee too.
